- Systems Engineer with experience interfacing wideband digitizing receivers and software defined radio systems to processing software running on standard general-purpose hardware.
- Evaluate new hardware from multiple vendors and work with the software team to integrate new hardware, optimize performance with current hardware, and troubleshoot problems with receiver/digitizer hardware.
- Perform site measurements, inspections, and survey at an OCONUS field site.
- There will be a focus on 5G in the survey. The individual is expected to be TDY for approximately 90 days during the survey period.
- Familiarity with VITA-49.
- Familiarity with low-level drivers software.
- Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Familiarity with multi-Gigabit Ethernet over copper and fiber optics.
- Familiarity with RF sources, amplifiers, filters, dividers, etc.
