Scorpion wins 2026 MarTech Breakthrough award for lead Management Innovation.

Scorpion wins 2026 MarTech Breakthrough award for lead Management Innovation. Aug 26, 2026, 09:00 ET Scorpion Convert recognized for closing the gap between lead generation and revenue; responsible for influencing $31 million in revenue for local businesses SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Scorpion, the leading provider of digital marketing and technology solutions for local businesses, today announced it has won the "Lead Management Innovation Award" in the 2026 MarTech Breakthrough Awards. It's the third industry award in under a year for Scorpion Convert, the company's AI-powered lead management solution, following a 2026 Big Innovation Award and a 2025 Global AI Award. Local businesses invest heavily to generate leads, but a large share never turn into revenue. Missed calls, slow responses, and after-hours inquiries open a gap between generating a lead and converting it, and that loss usually goes unnoticed. Scorpion built Convert to close it. "Across the services industry, every lead can represent an opportunity, and businesses need the right tools to respond quickly, provide helpful information, and make the most of that opportunity," said Matt Bentley, Chief Data Scientist at Scorpion. "That's the problem we set out to fix and we're very proud to see it be recognized here." Convert automatically engages, qualifies, and schedules leads in real time across phone, text, and web forms, around the clock through AI voice and messaging assistants, rather than just tracking or routing them after they arrive. Convert has influenced more than $31 million in revenue, $12 million outside of business hours, and booked more than 12,000 jobs. The 2026 MarTech Breakthrough Awards drew more than 4,000 nominations from companies worldwide, with winners including Adobe, Similarweb, and Microsoft Advertising. Scorpion adds Google Demand Gen to ad offering to help local businesses reach buyers during research phase

Scorpion, a digital marketing and technology provider for local businesses, has expanded its advertising offering to include Google Demand Gen alongside AI Max, Broad Match, and Smart Bidding. The addition aims to help businesses reach potential customers during the research phase. Demand Gen serves ads across YouTube, including Shorts, as well as Discover and Gmail. Google reports that 68% of Demand Gen conversions come from people who didn't see a business's search ads in the previous 30 days. The campaign type uses Google's AI to reach people showing interest in relevant topics before they actively search. Advertisers who added Demand Gen to their search or Performance Max campaigns saw an average 14% increase in conversions, according to Google. Scorpion builds and optimises the campaigns for clients, handling the complexity of running Demand Gen alongside traditional search advertising.

Small business news releases.

Small business news releases. Scorpion expands Google ads offering with Demand Gen. The addition helps local businesses reach buyers during the research phase SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 19, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Scorpion, the leading provider of digital marketing and technology solutions for local businesses, today announced an expanded advertising offering that pairs Google Demand Gen with AI Max, Broad Match, and Smart Bidding to help local businesses reach buyers earlier in their journey. Most businesses aren't thinking about marketing to people who aren't looking for them yet, but they should be. Google reports that most people come across new businesses while scrolling, watching, and reading online, not while searching, and that the large majority act on what they find soon after. By the time someone searches for a service provider, they have often already chosen who to call, and the business that reached them sooner, while they were still researching, is the one that gets remembered. On average, 68% of Demand Gen conversions come from people who did not see a business's Search ads in the 30 days before converting. That is the moment Demand Gen was built for. Demand Gen is a Google campaign type that serves ads across YouTube, including Shorts, along with Discover and Gmail. Instead of waiting for someone to run a search, it uses Google's AI to reach people already showing interest in a topic related to what a business offers, putting the business into consideration while the buyer is still deciding. Unlike blind display advertising, it reaches an audience that Google's AI has qualified. YouTube Shorts reaches audiences other platforms don't, with 45% of its US users not on TikTok and 65% not on Reels, and it delivers more than double the long-term return on ad spend of TV, streaming, and paid social. "For Local Services, it's imperative that your business be visible, build connections, and drive performance. Demand Gen can help your business address these 3 key points in a single campaign type," said Darren Pan, Regional Product Lead at YouTube. Google recommends running Demand Gen alongside its search tools (AI Max, Broad Match, and Smart Bidding) rather than on its own, and Scorpion now supports that approach for clients whose budgets and goals fit. Scorpion builds, runs, and optimizes campaigns, so the business owner doesn't have to manage any of it. Demand Gen reaches people while they are still researching, and search campaigns capture them once they are ready to act. Advertisers who added Demand Gen to their Search or Performance Max campaigns saw an average 14% increase in conversions. Service businesses like law firms, home services companies, and pest control providers are well suited to Demand Gen, since the format rewards showing real work, from finished jobs to before-and-after results. These campaigns depend on strong video and display assets, and Scorpion produces the creative that each one needs. "Most of a business's future customers aren't searching yet. They're still deciding who to trust," said Ashlie Kim, SVP of Advertising at Scorpion. "Demand Gen lets our clients reach them in that window, and we handle the complexity so the business owner doesn't have to." Scorpion partners with OpenAI to bring ChatGPT ads to local businesses via integrated platform

Scorpion, a digital marketing and technology solutions provider for local businesses, has become a technology partner supporting advertising in ChatGPT. The designation allows Scorpion to create, launch, and manage ad campaigns in ChatGPT for clients directly through its existing platform. This integration gives local businesses access to ChatGPT's more than 900 million weekly active users and 50 million consumer subscribers. According to Ashlie Kim, Senior Vice President of Advertising at Scorpion, clients have been asking about ChatGPT Ads for months. The partnership addresses a common challenge where new advertising platforms typically reach local businesses slowly, as small and medium-sized businesses often lack resources to adopt new channels. This integration enables Scorpion's clients to become early adopters of ChatGPT Ads from launch.
