Requirements
  • At least 2 years of registered nurse experience working in a procedural setting.
  • Prior critical care experience.
  • Passion for procedural nursing and interest in growing as a nursing leader.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • A required Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.
  • A New York Registered Nurse license and registration.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director in delegating and coordinating nursing care activities for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures, Endoscopy, and the interventional Pain Management program.
  • Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to support professional growth.
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team, including attending physicians, registered nurses, and ancillary staff, to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their families through safety intervention, emotional support, and education.
