Requirements
  • A technical higher-education background; a Bac+5 degree is ideally preferred, in an industrial or technical field.
  • At least five years of industrial project management experience, ideally in a multi-site food-processing environment and managing projects involving many stakeholders.
  • Leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to bring together teams with differing interests.
  • Rigor, organization, critical thinking, curiosity, and the ability to challenge proposed solutions.
  • Autonomy, adaptability, concise synthesis, and positive communication.
Responsibilities
  • Manage industrial projects end to end, from expressing the need through final acceptance of installations.
  • Structure and schedule project stages, monitor progress, and anticipate risks and potential obstacles.
  • Facilitate and coordinate internal and external project resources, including engineering-office specialists in automation, buildings, and utilities; production-site teams; suppliers; contractors; and industrial partners.
  • Align stakeholders around project objectives and find solutions that reconcile their constraints and interests.
  • Ensure compliance with company processes and standards, including capital expenditure (CAPEX), project management, industrial procurement, and machine safety.
  • Track investment budgets and schedules, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Participate in selecting technical solutions and challenge proposals from suppliers and partners.
  • Maintain technological and regulatory awareness through supplier discussions, reference-site visits, trade fairs, and the industrial network.
  • Anticipate technological, regulatory, and business changes that could affect installations and industrial processes.
  • Support sites in resolving technical issues by applying expertise, experience, and professional networks.
  • Provide the Director of Projects with structured, regular reporting on project progress and capital expenditure.
  • Capture lessons learned to support continuous improvement in projects and practices within the beef division.
