  • Experience leading and developing operational team members and creating clear accountability across functions.
  • Strong systems and data orientation across process architecture, data quality, reporting, integrations, controls, and practical execution.
  • Evidence of redesigning workflows through automation, artificial intelligence, self-service, or technology rather than simply digitizing an existing manual process.

  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills, sound judgment, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to partner across Finance, IT, Security, Legal, Talent, and senior People leadership, including navigating ambiguity and making clear recommendations.
Responsibilities
  • Own the People technology ecosystem and roadmap, including HRIS architecture, system governance, integrations, access, vendor performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the internal business owner for the planned HRIS modernization, leading requirements, data migration, configuration decisions, testing, training, rollout, and adoption.
  • Ensure People systems support scalable workflows, clear controls, manager and employee self-service, and reliable downstream data.

  • Own the integrity and governance of People data, including organizational structure, job architecture fields, compensation-related data, employee records, and reporting structures.
  • Build proactive data-quality controls to identify discrepancies before they create payroll, reporting, compliance, or employee-experience issues.
  • Develop scalable dashboards and self-service reporting for headcount, hiring, turnover, compensation, and talent trends.
  • Redesign reporting workflows and automate repeatable data delivery to reduce reliance on recurring manual reports.
  • Lead the payroll capability and provide senior oversight of payroll operations, including accuracy, timeliness, controls, documentation, audit readiness, and issue resolution.
  • Manage and develop the payroll team member responsible for day-to-day payroll execution; review controls, interrogate payroll outputs, understand multi-state requirements, and step in during high-risk or exceptional situations.
  • Establish review and escalation mechanisms across People and Finance, including independent controls for high-risk payroll changes and exceptions.
  • Redesign payroll and payroll-adjacent workflows as systems and automation mature, shifting the function toward governance, exception management, auditing, and continuous improvement.
  • Own the operational infrastructure supporting onboarding, offboarding, employment changes, contractor lifecycle processes, I-9/E-Verify, and Employer of Record operations for international team members.
  • Ensure employee lifecycle workflows are accurate, compliant, well controlled, and increasingly self-service.
  • Partner with Finance, IT, Legal, Security, Talent, and People Business Partners to create clean handoffs and clear decision rights across employee lifecycle processes.
  • Maintain a resilient operating model with documentation, backup coverage, escalation paths, and ownership for recurring People operations.
  • Lead and support the Benefits & Compliance capability, including priorities, escalation support, vendor partnerships, and compliance operations.
  • Own operational compliance infrastructure and audit readiness in partnership with subject-matter experts, Legal, Finance, brokers, and external advisors.
  • Clarify roles, decision rights, controls, and service expectations across People Operations; coach team members and build durable functional capability.
  • Identify manual handoffs, administrative bottlenecks, recurring reporting cycles, and control points that can be eliminated, simplified, automated, or redesigned.
  • Use artificial intelligence and automation for exception detection, data-quality auditing, workflow orchestration, employee and manager self-service, and recurring operational processes.
  • Evaluate workflows from first principles, remove unnecessary steps, clarify ownership, reduce handoffs, and preserve human judgment where risk or complexity requires it.
  • Measure whether redesigned workflows improve capacity, speed, accuracy, control, or employee and manager experience, and iterate based on results.
  • Serve as the senior People Operations partner to Finance and Accounting on payroll controls, People data, workforce reporting, systems changes, and operating risk.
  • Partner with IT and Security on systems architecture, integrations, access, and controls; with Legal on employment and compliance matters; and with Talent and People leadership on processes dependent on high-quality People data and infrastructure.
  • Translate complex operational issues into clear recommendations, tradeoffs, and decisions for People leadership and executive stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Direct Rippling experience is strongly preferred.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
  • Working fluency in compensation and benefits operations is valuable.

About the company

Panorama Education provides a data analytics platform for schools that focuses on improving student outcomes through social-emotional learning (SEL) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). The platform collects and analyzes data on student performance (attendance, behavior, grades) and measures SEL indicators such as how students feel in terms of being loved, challenged, and prepared. It then provides analytics and tools that help educators develop tailored interventions and support strategies. The product is designed for B2B sales to districts and schools and emphasizes professionalism and responsiveness in its service. Panorama’s goal is to help schools make data-informed decisions to better meet students’ social, emotional, and academic needs.

AI platform cuts IEP drafting time by 60% while improving quality from 30% to 70%

Panorama Education is helping US school districts improve special education planning whilst reducing administrative time. La Joya ISD increased its adherence to Texas IEP quality standards from 30% to over 70% in one school year using Panorama Solara, the company's AI-powered solution. The district is tracking ahead of the state's 85% quality target for 2028-29. Mesquite ISD cut IEP drafting time from two to three hours to 45 minutes per student, potentially freeing over 10,000 hours of staff capacity. The district also reduced data analysis time from two to three weeks to one to two days. Panorama's platform serves more than 15 million students nationwide, providing connected access to student information, state requirements, and district standards for special education teams.

Panorama Student Success earns Research-Based Learning Analytics Certification from Digital Promise.

Panorama Student Success earns Research-Based Learning Analytics Certification from Digital Promise. Panorama staff. August 4, 2026 - Panorama Education, the leading platform for student support and learning in K-12 education, has earned the Research-Based Learning Analytics: Product Certification from Digital Promise for Panorama Student Success, its leading MTSS and student support solution. Developed by the national nonprofit Digital Promise, this certification recognizes edtech products that ground how they collect, analyze, and report data in rigorous research. For school and district leaders, it offers an independent, research-based benchmark when evaluating potential platforms. More than a badge, the Research-Based Learning Analytics Certification signals that research is foundational to how a product is designed and built. Panorama Student Success brings academic, attendance, behavior, engagement, and other student data together in one shared system. With that complete picture, educators can spot needs earlier, coordinate interventions, track progress, and gauge whether supports are actually working. District leaders, in turn, gain visibility across schools - identifying trends, strengthening MTSS implementation, and directing resources where they'll have the greatest impact. Research shapes Student Success at every stage of development. Panorama's Data Science and Applied Research team continuously reviews external studies, runs original analyses on Panorama's extensive datasets, and partners with researchers and education organizations to explore emerging challenges and validate product decisions. You can see that research in action in features like Chronic Absenteeism Insights. Panorama's studies uncovered meaningful links between chronic absenteeism and student experiences, like school safety and student-teacher relationships. Student Success connects attendance data with student voice data, so educators can move beyond simply flagging absenteeism to understanding the factors that may be driving it. Through Student Success's intervention workflows, educators can build support plans using more than 1,000 research-backed strategies, document referrals, monitor progress, and collaborate with colleagues and families, all in one connected platform. AI-powered insights help surface patterns and suggest possible next steps faster, while educators remain responsible for reviewing the information and deciding the right action for each student. The Digital Promise certification reinforces Panorama's commitment to helping districts move from simply seeing student challenges to solving them. By bringing together rigorous research, complete student context, and coordinated workflows, Student Success gives educators and leaders a stronger foundation for taking timely, informed action in every school. Panorama Solara named 2026 EdTech AI Platform of the Year by EdTech Breakthrough.

Panorama Solara named 2026 EdTech AI Platform of the Year by EdTech Breakthrough. Panorama staff. July 7, 2026 - Panorama Education, the leading platform for student support and learning in K-12 education, has been named EdTech AI Platform of the Year in the 2026 EdTech Breakthrough Awards, which recognize organizations advancing innovation across the global education technology market. This recognition follows Panorama Solara's Trendsetter Award win from EdTech Digest earlier this year, marking another milestone in the company's continued innovation in AI-powered educator support. Now in its eighth year, the EdTech Breakthrough Awards recognize organizations driving innovation across the global education technology market. This year's program attracted more than 3,000 nominations from organizations spanning more than 20 countries, marking its largest and most competitive field to date. Panorama Solara, the solution at the heart of this recognition, is built specifically for K-12 education. Rather than a standalone AI tool, Solara securely connects AI with the systems and data districts already rely on, including student information systems, district curriculum and protocols, and the broader Panorama platform, delivering outputs that are aligned to district practices and grounded in real student context. Districts using Solara are seeing benefits that extend well beyond efficiency. Eighty-three percent of teachers report faster lesson planning, saving an average of five hours each month. More importantly, educators report reinvesting that time into supporting students. Panorama's instructional AI has also been associated with measurable academic gains, with partner districts reporting 15-17% improvements in ELA scores. Built with district governance in mind, Solara keeps district data within the Panorama ecosystem and does not use customer data to train AI models. Panorama meets FERPA, COPPA, and SOC 2 Type II standards and maintains a 1EdTech certification for data privacy, giving district leaders confidence to adopt AI responsibly while maintaining full control of their data. Panorama Education launches AI-powered assignment tutor and career exploration tool for K-12 students

Panorama Education has expanded its K-12 platform with two AI-powered tools: an assignment tutor called Ditto that provides real-time, rubric-aligned academic support, and CTE Pathfinder for career exploration and graduation tracking. Both feature enterprise-grade privacy controls. The company cites research showing over a third of 11th graders report minimal career conversations at school, with less than half confident their coursework prepares them for future goals. Ditto offers skill-building feedback whilst allowing teachers to review student-AI interactions. CTE Pathfinder helps students discover career pathways aligned to their coursework and interests, whilst providing educators with aggregated insights for advising. Panorama serves 15 million students across 2,000 districts. The platform complies with FERPA, PPRA and COPPA standards, and recently earned Common Sense Media's Privacy Seal with a 93% rating.
