Requirements

  • Knowledge of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration with audio systems.
  • Knowledge of root-cause analysis methods, including 8D and 5 Whys.
  • Knowledge of CAE/CFD simulation for thermal dissipation in amplifiers.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including SAFe and Scrum.
  • Knowledge of plastic injection-molding processes for audio housings.
  • Knowledge of automotive regulations and standards, including EMC and NVH.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Driver Information and Displays components.
  • Manage development of clusters, displays, head-up displays (HUDs), and driver-information modules.
  • Ensure compliance with functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead component release from concept through production.
  • Coordinate engineering changes (ECN/ECR) and track technical issues.
  • Prepare and maintain DFMEA, DVP&R, technical specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs).
  • Track engineering requirements and program documentation.
  • Coordinate technical activities with suppliers of displays, clusters, and electronic modules.
  • Review designs, development plans, and deliverable status.
  • Ensure proper integration of displays and information modules with infotainment systems, gateways, and vehicle networks.
  • Coordinate interfaces with software, hardware, and validation teams.
  • Investigate failures using methods such as 8D and 5 Whys.
  • Coordinate containment, corrective, and preventive actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in APQP and PPAP activities.
  • Support production and quality issues related to released components.
  • Support new-program launch activities.
  • Track field issues and product improvements.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings with internal customers, suppliers, and global teams.
  • Communicate risks, program status, and technical progress.
