Requirements

The candidate must possess Board certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology through the American Board of Pathology with subspecialty certification in Pediatric Pathology.
The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
The candidate must be eligible for an active, unrestricted Ohio medical license.

Responsibilities

The faculty member will work as part of a collaborative team that includes two additional pathologists, a pathology assistant, and a team of laboratorians.
Primary service responsibilities will be in all shared areas of pediatric pathology, including surgical pathology, autopsy pathology, biopsy pathology, cytology, and on-call services.

The Department of Pathology at Dayton Children’s Hospital, is seeking to expand its faculty with a MD or DO board-certified pediatric pathologist. This is a full-time employed position and includes a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. In addition, all physicians hold faculty appointments with the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. The faculty member will work as a part of a collaborative team to include 2 additional pathologists, a pathology assistant, and a team of laboratorians.
