Geotab is seeking an Associate Vice President of Supply Chain & Procurement who will be responsible for planning and leading Geotab’s global supply chain initiatives, policies and objectives. What you’ll do:
As the AVP, Supply Chain & Procurement you will be responsible for overseeing and managing contract manufacturers and suppliers, guiding demand forecasting, and spearheading a consolidated procurement strategy to ensure efficiency and cost effectiveness across the organization.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the company’s supply chain operations including sourcing, procurement,and demand forecasting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
- Champion the development and implementation of a consolidated procurement strategy that unifies purchasing activities across all company divisions.
- Develop and execute demand forecasting models and processes to accurately predict supply requirements and optimize inventory levels.
- Plan, evaluate, and improve business processes, systems and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, automation and output.
- Lead and mentor a team of international leaders/professionals through performance driven objectives and KPAs.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners to enhance business partnerships and forecasting.
- Develop a suite of dashboards and KPI’s to monitor and manage supply chain performance.
- Leverage cross-functional teams to ensure Geotab is sourcing superior components for new product development, based on engineering and quality specifications.
- Work closely with the Fulfillment and Manufacturing team to ensure day-to-day operations run seamlessly.
What you’ll bring to this role:
- 8-10 years of experience with supply chain management and/or procurement with proven success leading and optimizing supply chain operations.
- 8-10 years of experience leading, motivating, and developing teams in an agile and fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in negotiation and building strong relationships.
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex supply chain issues.
- Experience working within a technical or engineering organization/knowledge of the high-technology industry is an asset.
- Proven ability to think creatively.
- Ability to develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
- Experience delivering presentations and training.
- Continuously stay up to date with technology and industry trends.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and all levels of management within an organization.
- Experience using software programs, including, but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
- Ability to travel internationally.
