Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience working across machine learning, data science, and analytics, with a strong preference for machine learning expertise.
  • 2+ years of experience managing teams of data practitioners, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact AI solutions.
  • Solid experience in data infrastructure and analytics engineering to support scalable and reliable data systems.
  • Hands-on experience deploying / productionizing AI systems using frameworks like Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • A background in product engineering or experience collaborating closely with product engineering teams.
Responsibilities
  • Grow and manage the data and AI team across analytics, data science, machine learning, and data/analytics engineering.
  • Be hands-on with machine learning and data science, personally implementing key features and solutions.
  • Own the roadmap for all data initiatives, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to drive impactful projects.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and data solutions to improve personalization, forecasting, and operational efficiency, particularly anchored on leveraging the unique data we’ve been collecting for years to improve prediction.
  • Hire, mentor, and manage a team of diverse data professionals, including data scientists, ML engineers, and data analysts. We believe smaller, higher-caliber teams that are empowered beat big, slow, bureaucratic teams every time.

Customers pay a monthly fee to receive a selection of 120 eco-friendly products, including items for the home, pantry, and personal care. The products come in refillable packaging, which are picked up, cleaned, and reused, creating a zero-waste system that reduces reliance on single-use plastics.
