Requirements
  • At least 12 years of progressive technology leadership experience, including at least 5 years leading multi-disciplinary delivery organizations of meaningful scale.
  • Demonstrated success owning a business-critical enterprise platform end to end, including strategy, delivery, operations, and stakeholder management in a global, matrixed environment.
  • Experience partnering credibly with C-suite and senior business stakeholders, including CIO, COO, FP&A, and HR or People leadership.
  • Executive presence and communication skills suited to a professional services environment, with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business terms.
  • A track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams across geographies and time zones, with consideration for talent strategy, succession, and inclusion.
  • Strong judgment under ambiguity, pragmatic decision-making, and the ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Integrity, intellectual honesty, and a service mindset with accountability for business outcomes.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent leadership or delivery experience.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model with regular in-office presence and to travel internationally occasionally.
  • Direct experience leading enterprise-scale delivery on Salesforce-based platforms, with working knowledge of Salesforce data and security models, declarative and programmatic development, Apex, Lightning, integration patterns, sandbox and org strategy, and release management.
  • Deep familiarity with professional services automation platforms such as Certinia across project and opportunity management, resource management, time entry and billing, and project financials.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, including APIs, event-driven architectures, and middleware, and experience integrating with ERPs, Workday, identity providers, Informatica IICS and/or Databricks, and downstream finance and reporting systems.
  • Robust understanding of modern DevOps and Salesforce release engineering, including CI/CD, source-driven development, environment strategy, and deployment automation.
  • Working knowledge of IT general controls for financial systems, including SOX-style frameworks, access management, segregation of duties, change management, and audit evidence practices.
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security frameworks such as GDPR and SOC 2 as applied to enterprise SaaS and custom platforms.
  • Practical understanding of agile delivery at scale, including product management, backlog discipline, team topologies, and outcome-based delivery metrics.
Responsibilities
  • Own the multi-year vision and roadmap for Certinia while balancing reliable operations with strategic investment and reducing unnecessary customization.
  • Lead and develop a 30-plus-person, multi-disciplinary organization spanning product management, solution specialists, platform engineering, and agile delivery squads across global time zones.
  • Set and uphold engineering, quality, and delivery standards.
  • Serve as the senior technology partner to executive sponsors and stakeholders in the United States and United Kingdom time zones, translating business priorities into delivery plans and communicating trade-offs, risks, and progress.
  • Own the strategic relationship with the Certinia SaaS vendor and manage implementation and delivery partners through governance, performance expectations, and knowledge-transfer practices.
  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, and statements of work in partnership with Procurement and Legal.
  • Own DevOps, release management, and environment management for the platform, including CI/CD, branching and deployment strategy, sandbox and user acceptance testing lifecycle, and incident, problem, and change management.
  • Be accountable for the platform's regulatory and compliance posture, including audits, data privacy, access controls, and segregation of duties.
  • Own the annual operating and investment budget, including vendor and partner spend and internal capacity, and provide financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Champion the integration of artificial intelligence and agentic capabilities into core platform workflows in partnership with AI and data communities.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Data, Infrastructure, and Identity and Access Management teams to ensure a well-architected, observable, and resilient integration estate.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in management consulting, professional services, legal, or another people- and project-centric firm.
  • Experience shifting a complex platform from heavy customization toward a standardized product posture.
  • Demonstrated success embedding artificial intelligence, machine learning, or agentic capabilities into enterprise workflows in production.
  • Experience leading a major SaaS vendor relationship, influencing its roadmap, negotiating commercial frameworks, and managing implementation partners.
  • Prior accountability for a regulatory- or audit-relevant platform, such as SOX, financial reporting, or an equivalent, with successful audit outcomes.
  • Experience operating in a global, federated, multi-business environment across business units, geographies, and operating models.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect, and/or Certinia certifications.

Marsh beats Q1 estimates with $7.6B revenue, $3.29 EPS as organic growth hits 5%

Marsh reported Q1 revenue of $7.6 billion, up 7.6% year-over-year, beating the consensus estimate of $7.38 billion by 2.88%. Earnings per share came in at $3.29, compared to $3.06 in the prior-year quarter, surpassing the consensus estimate of $3.21 by 2.46%. Key metrics showed mixed performance against analyst expectations. Consolidated organic revenue growth of 5% exceeded the 3.5% estimate, whilst consulting organic growth of 5% topped the 4.4% forecast. However, Guy Carpenter's organic growth of 2% fell short of the 4.2% estimate. Geographically, Marsh's EMEA division generated $1.21 billion in revenue, up 14.1% year-over-year and beating estimates. Mercer consulting revenue reached $1.66 billion, an 11% increase that surpassed the $1.58 billion consensus.
