Requirements

A degree or professional qualification in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
One to three years of experience in Software Engineering.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.

Responsibilities

Architect and build advanced cybersecurity software solutions to support threat detection, investigation, analysis, and knowledge management.
Design scalable and high-availability system architecture with continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Develop high-performance microservices and RESTful APIs.
Enhance dashboards for system health monitoring and telemetry collection to improve system performance and resilience.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve software and systems.
Identify and prioritize project requirements with the team, develop and implement solutions, and ensure products meet the needs of operations users and stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications

Experience or knowledge of SIEM systems.
Frontend development experience, such as ReactJS.
Backend development experience, such as FastAPI, ExpressJS, or Spring Boot.
Experience with database and cache technologies, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
Microservice and RESTful API design and development experience.
Experience with DevOps tools, such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, and Helm.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Kubernetes and Docker.

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our Cybersecurity (Software Systems) product group. As a key member of our team, you'll design, develop, and deploy software solutions to safeguard our nation's cyber security. You'll work closely with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements, develop and implement solutions, and ensure our products meet the needs of our operations users and stakeholders.
