Oracle Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems team at Discord partners with departments like Finance & Accounting, FP&A, & Sales Ops to streamline operations and improve system efficiency. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our Business Systems team. This role will be responsible for analyzing business needs, documenting requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support various business system initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, along with high-level knowledge of enterprise business processes and experience with Jira Service Management

What you'll be doing:

• Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand, document, and translate requirements into clear and concise Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications.
• Business System Support & Enhancements: Assist in supporting and improving business processes related to Order to Cash (O2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Record to Report (R2R) functions.
• Jira Service Management (JSM) Administration: Track and manage business system requests, incidents, and enhancements in Jira Service Management to ensure timely resolution.
• SOX Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure all system changes and enhancements adhere to SOX compliance and financial controls.
• Testing & Validation: Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and system validation for new implementations and enhancements

What you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and experience working in the business systems department
• 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role and have experience with Oracle Fusion ERP.
• High-level understanding of enterprise business processes and their impact on financial and operational workflows.
• Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ticketing systems and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with attention to detail.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to document business requirements clearly.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit processes.

This position is US-based and can be remote but if you live in the Bay Area, you’re welcome to work from our beautiful SF office.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000 to $139,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
