Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in new product development with durable, service-oriented products
  • Experience marketing in retail and/or B2B dealer/distributor sales channels
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to gather, interpret, and leverage data to make informed product decisions

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of product strategies that align with the overall business objectives and market opportunities, ensuring each product launch contributes to our long-term vision
  • Scope and conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs, informing product development and positioning
  • Be the voice of the customer, championing their needs and ensuring every product decision enhances their experience and satisfaction
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and communicate a 5-year product roadmap, collaborating closely with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to ensure successful product launches
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing optimization, ensuring products meet market demands and exceed customer expectations
  • Lead product launch plans and implement go-to-market strategies in collaboration with communication, graphic design, IT and learning & development teams. Engage in the global Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) process, with primary responsibility for annual sales and inventory projections, as well as model line-up transition planning and execution as appropriate. Monitor and analyze retail sales, distributor order activity, and field inventory position.
  • Monitor competitive product activity and develop competitive product comparisons. Collaborate with sales and finance team to set product pricing strategies and promotional executions.
  • Support industry trade shows, customer experience events, and other key corporate events, activities and initiatives. Plan and deliver product sales training, including participation in live training events and recorded product webinars. Develop content for sales training tools and marketing collateral materials.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), measuring product success and driving data-driven continuous improvement
  • Develop all marketing materials, including packaging, presentations, merchandising, and other collateral, to commercially launch new products.

Octane, a fintech company, and Huntington Bank have partnered with outdoor power equipment manufacturers Ariens and Gravely to deliver a comprehensive financing platform for dealerships and customers. The Huntington Bank Powered by Octane programme enables dealers to manage sales and financing through a single platform, from prequalification to closing. Qualified applicants receive prime financing options through Huntington, whilst near-prime offers come from Octane's in-house lender. The system uses Octane's technology to provide instant credit decisions and streamlined documentation management. AriensCo appoints Michael Groves as UK product-specialist. AriensCo has expanded its UK team with the appointment of Michael Groves as Product Specialist in July 2025. With over 18 years of experience in professional turf care, Groves brings a strong mix of technical knowledge and hands-on expertise to the brand. Having previously worked with Buxtons, Ron Smith & Co., and PSD Groundscare, Groves has built deep expertise in complex, demonstration-driven machinery, particularly High grass and slope mowers.
