About the Job

Requirements

  • Hold a medical biology laboratory technician diploma listed in the decree of October 21, 1992.
  • Obtain the Certificate of Competence to Perform Blood Sampling (CCEPS).
  • Have a mandatory RPPS number.
  • Demonstrate rigor, organizational skills, precision, autonomy, teamwork, interpersonal skills, patient service orientation, and respect for procedures.
  • Beginners are welcome; training is provided upon hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood sampling in the laboratory in accordance with current protocols, providing patients with safe and considerate care.
  • Welcome patients, explain the sampling process, and answer their questions.
  • Register and maintain patient records.
  • Centrifuge, decant, and package samples for transport to the technical platform.
  • Contribute to implementing and continuously improving the laboratory quality system.
  • Order, receive, and verify supplies.
  • Participate in home-sampling rounds as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain sampling rooms.
  • Inform patients of the expected time for results.
  • Travel to other company laboratories in the same geographic area when required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in a medical analysis laboratory is desirable.
  • Knowledge of laboratory management software, preferably HEXALIS, is desirable.
