Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, ideally in a consumer tech, fintech, or DTC environment where the audience is skeptical and the creative bar is high
  • You think like a journalist with a beat — you track trends, cultural moments, and platform shifts proactively and always have a point of view on what's worth acting on
  • Expert-level CapCut and mobile editing skills — you can take raw footage and turn it into something scroll-stopping without a full production team
  • Strong copywriter with a natural, platform-native voice — you write like a human, not a brand. You’re comfortable with both long for copy and short form
  • Deep platform fluency across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube — you know what performs and why on each, and you stay current
  • Comfortable and confident on camera when needed
  • AI-forward: you're already using AI tools in your workflow and can show examples of what that looks like in practice
  • Highly organized and self-directed — you can manage a content calendar across multiple brands and channels without losing creative sharpness
  • Experience working with UGC and influencers. Your comfortable negotiating a contract, creating briefs, writing scripts and talking points, and giving detailed feedback
  • Genuinely curious about advertising, culture, and the internet — this is something you think about outside of work hours
Responsibilities
  • Build and own the organic social strategy for Ethos and a new brand launching soon, with distinct approaches for each platform — LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond
  • Think platform-natively: what works on TikTok is not what works on LinkedIn, and you know the difference instinctively
  • Identify and monitor KPIs per platform and use them to sharpen your approach over time
  • Explore emerging channels (Reddit, Threads, and others) where our audiences live and where we haven't yet shown up
  • Help create, edit, and publish high-quality content across all channels — short-form video, static, stories, reels, and long-form YouTube.
  • Repurpose and reimagine content made for paid social and TV, adapting it for organic without it feeling like a cut-down
  • Edit with expert-level fluency in CapCut and other mobile-first social editing tools
  • Develop net-new organic content that follows platform best practices and feels made for the feed, not repurposed from somewhere else
  • Be comfortable on camera when the moment calls for it — you don't need a production team to make something worth watching
  • Help to identify, source, contract, brief/script UGC and influencers to partner with
  • You are comfortable writing copy, both long form and short
  • Show up as the voice of Ethos (and our second brand) across channels — from evergreen content to company milestones and product launches to cultural moments that feel right for us
  • Become an expert in the category and engage with followers, respond to comments, and build community in a way that feels genuine.
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategy, Paid Social, and Influencer teams to keep organic and paid working together
  • Build AI-powered workflows that reduce time spent on repetitive tasks and increase the volume and quality of output
  • Stay current on how social platforms and AI tools are evolving and factor that into how we show up

Ethos Technologies Q2 revenue soars 113% to $190M with over 700,000 activated policies

Ethos Technologies reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $190 million, marking 113% year-over-year growth. This represents the company's second consecutive quarter of exceeding 100% growth. The firm activated over 100,000 new policies during the three-month period, bringing its cumulative total above 700,000 policies. Its third-party channel revenue grew 90% year-over-year to $73 million. Adjusted EBITDA reached $35 million, contributing to a Rule of 40 score of 132. However, the company expects margin compression in the second half due to higher third-party channel revenue, which carries lower margins than its direct channel. Ethos raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $727–731 million, representing 88% annual growth. The company also authorised a $100 million share repurchase programme.
