Mobile pediatric dentistry delivered in schools
Help A Child Smile brings dental care directly to Georgia schools by operating a temporary, fully equipped mobile clinic inside school facilities and serving 125 districts to reach underserved students. A team of licensed dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants provides preventive and restorative pediatric services, including exams, cleanings, X-rays, fluoride, sealants, fillings, crowns, extractions, and pulpotomies. Services are billed to insurance providers, with Medicaid and PeachCare often covering costs, while private insurance and self-pay options are available. The goal is to improve access to dental care for economically underserved children by removing transportation and scheduling barriers and by offering oral health education in schools.
