Requirements
  • A four-year degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 10 years of project management experience on commercial or Government construction projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide site leadership and serve as the primary Government interface.
  • Ability to independently apply advanced project management techniques to complex assignments under limited supervision and general direction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, a favorable Tier 4 Public Trust background investigation within the last five years.
  • Completion of all United States Secret Service suitability and non-disclosure documentation before commencing work.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the designated Site Lead and primary contact for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative on issues relating to contractor personnel.
  • Provide direction to the project team and coordinate schedules and workload across construction and service projects.
  • Oversee all construction-related activities and day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
  • Coordinate with customers and conduct schedule and design reviews.
  • Develop solutions to construction problems or existing field conditions and review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
  • Support the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative throughout project acquisition phases, including answering offerors' questions and participating in site orientation visits and joint contractor/Government meetings.
  • Draft technical responses to change orders and prepare statements of work and cost estimates for new contracts and contract modifications.
  • Support contract reporting requirements, including the comprehensive Monthly Report and Monthly Performance Update meetings with the Contracting Officer, Contracting Officer's Representative, and contractor management.
  • Travel periodically to different government locations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional certification or another project management certification.
  • Experience supporting Federal Government construction or facility engineering programs.
  • Experience preparing statements of work, independent cost estimates, and change order documentation.
  • Experience managing teams across geographically dispersed project sites.
