Requirements
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced environment; hospitality industry experience is advantageous.
  • Experience facilitating training sessions.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic human resources initiatives.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in business or human resources management, or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of labour law and human resources best practices, with the ability to support all areas of the business.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement human resources strategies aligned with overall business objectives and goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leaders to align human resources initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Lead workforce planning, talent acquisition, and succession planning.
  • Manage employee relations, address concerns and conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with leaders to investigate, document, and implement corrective actions in accordance with company policy and applicable labour laws.
  • Implement effective communication to foster transparent and open dialogue between employees and management.
  • Promote and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance diversity and equity within the organization.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute human resources policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and consistency.
  • Monitor employment laws and regulations and adapt policies accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Advise leaders on fair treatment processes and their responsibilities within those processes.
  • Mitigate legal risks by monitoring legislative changes and advising management.
  • Oversee talent acquisition, recruitment, and onboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Monitor market trends and conduct regular benchmarking to support talent attraction and retention.
  • Develop and implement learning and development strategies to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities.
  • Collaborate with departments to align learning and development initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Use learning technologies and methodologies to deliver effective training programs.
