Requirements
  • Three to five years of assembly experience, preferably including both mechanical assembly and wiring.
  • One to two years of experience or training in document control.
  • Ability to interpret, analyze, research, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to assemble, inspect, test, and document complex electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision while maintaining production schedules.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continuously and bend, squat, climb, and climb up to 10 steps at a time.
  • Ability to see small or detailed items.
  • Ability to work in a shop or warehouse environment exposed to heat, cold, wet or humid conditions, noise, and vibration.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble metallic, electrical, and plastic components according to drawings, specifications, and bills of material.
  • Terminate, route, bundle, and label wires and wire harnesses according to company standards and methods.
  • Operate computers, terminals, and wire-labeling equipment.
  • Mount devices using drills, taps, wrenches, clamps, and other tools.
  • Climb ladders to attach overhead objects.
  • Ensure cable connectivity and test for compliance with standards.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve assembly techniques.
  • Comply with safety, quality, work rules, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Maintain production equipment and a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
  • Escalate problems and communicate progress.
  • Accurately enter data and update dashboards.
  • Handle, store, and retrieve materials.

  • Forklift experience.
  • Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Mechanical assembly and wiring experience.
