Requirements
  • 4+ years of management experience in specialty retail and/or multi-unit retail business environment
  • Proven ability to manage staff to exceed sales goals, while achieving payroll goals
  • Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples
  • Proven ability to identify top talent, create teams, and train/develop/retain great people
  • Proven ability to think through complex issues and allocate time to execute multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Effective verbal and written communication, organization, and leadership skills
  • Full-time availability
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug test
Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to achieve or exceed budgeted sales, payroll, and controllable expense goals
  • Ensure the team delivers a relentless customer focus; Train and motivate all associates in sales, service, and product knowledge
  • Assess performance and provide coaching and feedback using the appropriate levels of direction and support; Complete and deliver performance appraisals and development plans
  • Establish and manage recruiting strategies to build a talent pipeline to fill all open roles
  • Create and maintain a culture that achieves a respectful work environment where individual differences are valued and appreciated
  • Prioritize, plan, and adjust schedules and daily agendas to meet business goals; Hold the team accountable for achieving goals
  • Maintain presence through effective floor management and ensure staff coverage in all areas of the store as needed
  • Model and ensure all policies and procedures are communicated effectively, maintained, and consistently followed
  • Work with Area Manager and peers to develop best practices in store management
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
