Requirements
  • A successfully completed degree or technical vocational training plus further qualification as a mechanical engineering technician is required.
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management within the automotive or automotive supplier industry are required.
  • Qualification as a certified auditor according to VDA 6.3 is required.
  • A strong quality orientation is required.
  • A structured working method, strong assertiveness, and negotiation skills are required.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate existing and new suppliers with regard to quality, performance, cost structure, and process stability.
  • Build, develop, and optimize supplier relationships and derive and implement improvement measures.
  • Conduct audits, process analyses, and quality evaluations, ensuring compliance with norms, standards, and customer requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with suppliers and internal departments regarding technical changes, product launches, and process optimization.
  • Identify supply-chain risks and develop suitable measures to stabilize and safeguard the supply chain.
  • Support projects focused on supplier performance, material availability, and quality.
  • Contribute to the long-term supplier strategy, select new partners, and build sustainable supply chains.
  • Train employees on quality-related topics.
  • Organize the required quality inspections at goods receipt according to the incoming-goods inspection card.
  • Organize sorting activities and rework.
