Requirements
- You have completed an HBO education, preferably in Construction Engineering, or an MBO education supplemented by relevant work experience and courses.
- You have at least 7–10 years of experience in residential utility construction and/or non-residential construction.
- You have at least 5 years of execution experience in a leadership role as a chief site supervisor or construction site manager.
- You have extensive experience with different contract forms in the design and realization phases.
- You have VCA-VOL and emergency response training, preferably supplemented by relevant courses in the field.
- You have relevant experience with planning techniques such as Primavera or Microsoft Project.
- You have strong communication, social, and commercial skills, along with good leadership and organizational abilities.
- You are stress-resistant and knowledgeable about inspection and acceptance processes.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely execution of work in relation to the surrounding environment, within the established schedule and budget.
- Coordinate and lead site production, including instructing and coordinating personnel, site supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors, and overseeing timely and correct execution of work.
- Take responsibility for project execution within the project framework and provide day-to-day leadership of project execution.
- Prevent problems proactively and resolve them when necessary.
- Use and promote Lean tools and methods.
- Deliver the project within the established budget and timeframe.
- Organize the planning and processes, monitor execution, contribute to the overall schedule and phasing, and prepare six-week schedules with the planners.
- Inspect the quality and progress of completed work.
- Plan and manage equipment and materials.
- Manage progress, finances, quality, safety, working conditions, and environmental matters.
- Conduct start-work and safety, health, and environmental instruction meetings.
- Provide the project leader with information to support effective staffing.
- Prepare site reports, including labor hours, returns, inspections, work permits and instructions, and toolbox talks.
- Track additional and reduced work and report it to the project manager.
- Comply with BESIX and quality, health, safety, and environmental rules, and serve as the on-site emergency response officer.

- Relevant professional courses in the field are preferred.
