About the job
- Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program, including graduation from a school accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers certification is required.
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations safely and effectively while maximizing the use of resources and equipment.
- Interact with patients, medical staff, and peers in a positive, service-oriented manner.
- Perform all examinations in the assigned area for patients across the lifespan, from birth to death.
- Perform the additional responsibilities of an Ultrasound Technologist.
