Requirements
  • Eligible candidates must be rising senior undergraduate students who graduate in 2028.
  • Enrollment in a bachelor's program is required.
  • Knowledge of computers and various Microsoft Office applications is required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to provide statistical analysis.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare management, or a related area.
  • An interest in finance and healthcare.
  • Completion of finance or accounting courses.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Good judgment and discretion when working with confidential information.
Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and report on post-acute performance data, including length of stay, readmissions, discharge-to-home rates, and discharge volume to quality post-acute care providers.
  • Support efforts to reduce length of stay and increase discharge home.
  • Participate in the Hospital at Home initiative.
  • Develop and implement reporting, budgeting, and data collection processes for Hospital at Home.
  • Present project results to senior leadership, project hosts, and mentors.
  • Participate in hospital tours and volunteer opportunities as permitted.
  • Participate in networking and team-building events.
