We are seeking two (2) awesome humans to join the Inventory team at our Jersey City, New Jersey warehouse. You’ll play an important role in Dopple’s customer and vendor experience, with responsibilities that include unpacking, hanging, and counting clothing from new supplier shipments; tagging clothes with Dopple branded labels, processing returns; and organizing merchandise and incoming inventory.
Our ideal candidates are efficient and highly organized, take pride in getting their work done quickly and accurately, and are passionate about kids’ fashion and delighting our customers.
Please note that warehouse roles at Dopple are all day-time (no overnight shifts!) with only limited weekend work occasionally required. The inventory team shift takes place from 6am-2pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available based on business needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform general inventory duties including receiving, storage, scanning, ticketing and labeling of merchandise.
- Ensure the correct pieces are identified and counted against the expected received amount.
- Meet (and exceed) quality, delivery, and inventory receiving targets.
- Inspect garments to ensure quality and verify all tags are attached and correct.
- Properly process damaged merchandise.
- Accurately receiving, storing and shipping of apparel and accessories, meeting company standards for safety, security, and productivity.
- Perform stocktakes, monitor price changes and rectify any discrepancies.
- Follow company policy and procedure in inventory processing and management.
- Assist in filling other general warehouse functions and special projects as assigned by leadership.
What we’re looking for:
- Our ideal candidate is extraordinarily reliable, has previous experience in similar inventory and/or warehouse roles, with stellar references from previous employers. Other key attributes include:
- Must be able to read, write and take direction in English (Bilingual in English and Spanish a STRONG plus)
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient with basic technology.
- Strong initiative and self-driven, ability to multi-task and maintain organization.
- Prior experience working in a team environment and independently.
- Previous fashion experience is a plus - especially in retail and/or eCommerce fulfillment.

Per compliance for NYC, the compensation range for this position is Minimum $13 to Maximum $17 per hour.
