Cordell & Cordell expands estate planning services to 12 US states in one year

Cordell & Cordell, the largest family law firm in the US, has expanded its estate planning services to 12 states and 18 cities, one year after launch. The firm recently added Arizona, Georgia and Indiana, now serving 44% of the US population at a time when only 24% of Americans have a will in place. The expansion includes new offices in Cleveland, Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Orlando and Indianapolis. The firm leverages its existing family law footprint to provide localised estate planning guidance, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and healthcare directives. Americans spend an estimated $2 billion annually navigating probate courts, with nearly $1.5 billion going towards attorney fees. Cordell & Cordell plans to add more locations by year's end to meet growing demand for accessible estate planning services.

Cordell & Cordell expands estate planning services to nine US states, reaching 36% of population

Cordell & Cordell, the US's largest family law firm, has expanded its estate planning services to nine states, now covering 36% of the American population. The expansion adds Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania to existing operations in Missouri, Illinois, Virginia, Kansas and Texas. The move addresses a significant gap: only 24% of US adults have a will, according to a 2025 survey. Without estate plans, families often face lengthy probate proceedings, legal expenses and emotional stress when handling assets and healthcare decisions. Cordell & Cordell's estate planning services include wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives and asset protection strategies. The firm, which has served over 100,000 clients across 33 states during 35 years, aims to make legal guidance more accessible before crisis situations arise.
