Requirements
  • You will have been working as a software product manager for at least five years
  • Good understanding of the electronics industry, preferably in Electronic Design
  • Worked in a highly technical, growing software company
  • Accustomed to operating in an Agile environment
  • Experience managing a high-traffic, user-facing website with millions of visitors each month
Responsibilities
  • Participate in a cross-functional team, including UX, data analysts, backend and frontend software engineers. You will report to the Head of Product for Octopart.
  • Partner with your team’s engineering manager and UX designer to define, plan and prioritise the product backlog.
  • Propose your team's major initiatives to the Head of Product and executive team. You are not waiting for instructions. You will guide your team by aligning with stakeholders.
  • Interview users to develop and fine-tune personas, journey maps, requirements and acceptance criteria. These will be your guiding artifacts to help your team innovate.
  • Work with the analytics team to A/B test and assess onsite activity. You will help join qualitative and quantitative analysis together to bring truths and clarity to the team.
  • Research and analyze technology trends in the electronics industry.
  • Collaborate with other product managers on ways of working to ensure dependencies are understood.
  • Present the product roadmap and updates to the engineering, design, marketing, sales and executive teams.
  • Define what is required to achieve user and traffic growth.
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing to plan go-to-market activities.
