  • Bilingual in English and French is required.

  • Three or more years of experience in a customer service or selling environment (e.g., Retail, telephone, or warehouse).

  • This role may require attending customers’ sites and adhering to safety requirements including wearing personal protective equipment such as a hard hat and steel-toed boots, and possibly N95 mask.
Responsibilities
  • Serve multiple customer locations on a designated route by receiving and stocking purchased product at customer locations and ensuring proper stocking levels by scanning orders as inventory is depleted.
  • Oversee customer inventory locations by ensuring proper labeling and quantities on hand are accurate.
  • Resolve customer problems promptly and accurately to retain and promote customer loyalty in accordance with Grainger policy and procedure.
  • Comply with safety and inspection requirements of Grainger and the facility where service is provided.
  • Meet defined key performance indicators for the position.
  • Perform machine break/fix activities for different machines at the customer's site as part of non-route based activities.
  • Implement territory work related to planning and execution of customer inventory projects.
  • Perform data collection at customer sites to aid KeepStock implementation.
  • Assist customers with staging, labeling, and organizing product at customer sites.
  • Complete product relocation and discontinuation process.
  • Travel as required and assigned, including branch responsibilities.
  • Help generate new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs and pursue spot-buy opportunities.
  • Execute onsite service components of the account strategy as defined by cross-functional business partners.
  • Work with sales partners to improve customer experience and increase business.
