Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Enterprise Project Manager, preferably in a government environment.
  • Strong technical experience using Microsoft SharePoint 2013, Microsoft Project 2013, Microsoft Project Server and its reporting capabilities, and the Microsoft Office 2013 Suite.
  • Experience with the functioning of an Enterprise Project Management Office and interacting with steering committees.
  • Experience in project governance.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
Responsibilities
  • Chair and manage the Enterprise Project Management Office Board meetings and membership.
  • Collect or validate status information from project managers and business analysts to support the Enterprise Project Management Office Board’s oversight of active, pending, and recently completed projects.
  • Ensure a consistent flow of current, accurate, and usable information between the Enterprise Project Management Office, its Board, the Office of Information Technology Project Management Office, working groups, project stakeholders, agency project managers, and executives.
  • Develop service-level agreements for Office of Information Technology incidents and services.
  • Align the Enterprise Project Management Office with the budget process, including project budget validation, tracking, and analysis.
  • Define, develop, document, implement, and communicate standardized project management processes, procedures, and practices for the entire project lifecycle.
  • Develop and standardize templates.
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
  • Manage the project portfolio management system, including human and automated tasks through Microsoft Project Server, and the business process for managing Enterprise Project Management Office projects.
  • Measure project success to ensure documented requirements are achieved.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.
  • Attend Enterprise Project Management Office Board and Office of Information Technology Project Management Office meetings.
  • Conduct project postmortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Desired Qualifications
  • PMP or PgMP certification.
  • Working knowledge of multiple project methodologies, such as the Rational Unified Process and Scrum.
