Responsibilities
  • Arrange merchandise on shelves according to popularity or other criteria.
  • Approach customers and advise them on products to encourage purchases.
  • Provide information and services such as processing product returns.
  • Locate products for customers.
  • Handle complaints patiently and helpfully.
  • Take and record orders through a computer system, in person, by telephone, or by email.
  • Update customer contact information in databases.
  • Work toward achieving targets.
  • Supervise shelf inventories and unload new products as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly store environment.
