Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare, medical office, or patient care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and healthcare documentation systems is required.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work with a high level of accuracy is required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient referrals, authorizations, and provider orders.
- Manage clinician schedules and agency communications.
- Process patient documentation and insurance verifications.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams.
- Support smooth transitions of patients into home health services.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation requirements.
- Provide customer service and administrative support.
