Frontend Engineer
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Three to five years of experience in frontend development with a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, Next.js, and React.
- Solid experience with React frameworks such as Next.js and Create React App.
- Proficiency in designing and developing responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
- Good understanding of consuming RESTful APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Assist in designing and implementing core features for the automated application screening and intelligent scoring system, focusing on the user-facing application.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team, product managers, and backend developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and a seamless user experience.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code using Next.js and React within an agile development environment.
- Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces.
- Assist with integrating the new system with existing platforms, including Greenhouse ATS.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with backend technologies.
