About the job
- Completed secondary education and a technical or vocational course in Nutrition.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques, food handling, and good hygiene practices.
- Availability to work a shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Support planning and execution of food production activities, following technical sheets, recipes, quality standards, and leadership guidance.
- Assist with food quality and safety controls during receiving, storage, pre-preparation, preparation, distribution, and preservation.
- Monitor hygiene and organization in production areas, equipment, utensils, and work environments according to good food-handling practices.
- Monitor food, equipment, and environment temperatures and maintain the necessary records and controls.
- Support controls for ingredient expiration dates, storage, identification, and preservation to help reduce losses and waste.
- Assist with receiving and checking goods, verifying packaging condition, expiration dates, temperature, quantity, and product quality.
- Monitor meal assembly, distribution, and presentation to ensure established standards are met.
- Support the kitchen team in organizing production processes and meeting technical-sheet and operational standards.
- Perform and monitor food safety, quality, and good-practice controls, records, and checklists.
- Support inventories, stock controls, and other administrative and operational routines related to food services.
- Guide and monitor the team's food-handling practices within the role's technical scope and under the supervision of the responsible technical professional.
- Help identify nonconformities and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Work with the kitchen, nutrition, and other teams to support smooth operations and service quality.
- Follow Accor's quality, hygiene, food safety, and operational procedures.
- Previous experience in nutrition, hospitality, restaurants, or food services.
