Demonstrate competency in intravenous technique annually.
Responsibilities
Assist the pharmacist in recording and dispensing medications.
Oversee the Pyxis program.
Document all pharmacy transactions accurately and promptly.
Prepare intravenous syringes according to proper procedure.
Maintain Emergency Room drug inventory and supplies.
Prepare the state narcotic report monthly when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Description
Pharmacy Tech, Part-time benefited position 20 hour per week.
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, perform specific job responsibilities authorized by the Idaho Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations. - Assist pharmacist in recording and dispensing medications - Show competency on IV technique yearly - Oversee Pyxis program - Timely and accurately document all pharmacy transactions - Prepare IV syringes following proper procedure - Maintain Emergency Room drug inventory and supplies. - Prepare State narcotic report monthly if needed - Other duties as assigned
