Requirements
  • Must be a United States Citizen, eligible to receive a Public Trust security clearance.
  • ~3–5+ years of progressive experience in litigation support or as a paralegal in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and the end-to-end litigation lifecycle.
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and litigation support software.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex datasets, manage voluminous case files, and maintain rigorous organizational standards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with attorneys, investigators, and court personnel.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or Certified Paralegal (CP) credential is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive litigation and technical support for complex, data-intensive Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) matters, focusing on discovery processing, case review platform administration, and advanced paralegal duties.
  • Work closely with USAO Automated Litigation Support (ALS) staff and manage the full lifecycle of electronically stored information—including collection, tracking, processing, and production— while ensuring adherence to standard protocols for imaging and metadata extraction.
  • The administration of document review databases.
  • Conducting legal research via LexisNexis/Westlaw.
  • Supporting ACE attorneys in the analysis of referrals, pleadings, and complex electronic records.
  • Drafting legal documents including briefs, memos, and pleadings.
  • Summarizing reports and other legal documents.
  • Tracking court deadlines and supporting attorneys with calendaring.
  • Coordinating pretrial witness activities.
