Technical Sales Engineer - Brabender Product Line
About the job
- Higher scientific or technical education, ideally in materials, polymers, plastics processing, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in materials testing and/or materials quality control is sought.
- Ability to understand customers' technical problems and propose suitable solutions.
- Professional English proficiency is essential for communication with international group teams.
- Valid category B driver's license.
- Regular travel to customers and prospects is required, with occasional travel elsewhere in France and abroad.
- Develop the Brabender product line's commercial activity in southern France.
- Identify new opportunities and develop the customer portfolio.
- Analyze customers' technical and application needs.
- Propose suitable solutions in extrusion and compounding.
- Present equipment and conduct technical demonstrations.
- Provide first-level technical support.
- Support customers throughout their projects and develop lasting commercial relationships.
- Track commercial opportunities in the assigned sector.
- Collaborate closely with Anton Paar France's internal teams.
- Work with the Brabender teams in Germany to provide suitable customer solutions and help achieve objectives.
- Demonstrated interest in business development and customer relationships.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Autonomy and organizational ability.
- Dynamic and proactive approach.
- Residence in Lyon or its surrounding area is preferred.
