Responsibilities
  • Supporting all aspects of the store including operations, driving customer service excellence, increasing profitability, and fostering an environment of motivation and engagement
  • Supporting the development of store business strategies
  • Maximizing results and achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Driving business through clienteling, sourcing new customers, and fostering ongoing productive relationships with customers
  • Reviewing weekly and monthly sales and product performance data
  • Improving sales performance of the team through feedback, coaching, and training
  • Supporting in-store marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Supporting local and community events and leading the event submission process at the store
  • Providing in-store coaching to staff
  • Assisting the Store Manager in coaching and developing a service-minded and high-performing team
  • Assisting in the hiring process for key team members
  • Building and promoting strong collaborative relationships in the market and HQ
  • Creating and participating in new hire onboarding and training activities for team members
  • Fostering a performance culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and goal achievement
  • Clearly communicating expected standards and demonstrating desired behaviors
  • Assisting Store Manager in monitoring Employee Relations related matters
  • Supporting maintenance of visual and operational standards with the leadership team
  • Assisting with the store schedule and applying the practices of labor optimization when scheduling
  • Managing all office and cleaning supply inventory
  • Managing team to prepare for and conduct stock-takes
  • Reporting any issues within the store to the Head Office
  • Ability to promptly respond to and escalate any customer complaints
