About the company

LCBC Church is a non-denominational evangelical megachurch that operates across Pennsylvania using a multi-site model. It runs multiple campuses that share a single worship experience via video simulcasts from the Manheim campus, while each location has its own local pastor, worship team, and ministry opportunities. In addition to weekly worship services, LCBC offers kid and student ministries and community groups, with growth through mergers with other churches. The church is funded by donations and focuses on biblical teaching as its core doctrine. Its long-term goal is to help people encounter Jesus and grow in their faith through a unified, expansive network of campuses that provide local programming alongside a centralized message.

What believers are saying

  • LCBC opened Wyomissing-facing expansion plans in 2026, signaling continued Pennsylvania growth.
  • Sept. 2026 Vision Nights celebrated four decades, reinforcing momentum and volunteer engagement.
  • Church Online, home gatherings, and new campuses diversify reach beyond legacy campuses.

What critics are saying

  • LCBC needs $20 million by 2029; donor fatigue slows Wyomissing and campus launches.
  • The simulcast model commoditizes preaching; attendance shifts if Jason Mitchell or David Ashcraft weaken.
  • Succession still centralizes influence around David Ashcraft and The Advantage, creating key-person concentration.

What makes LCBC Church unique

  • LCBC runs 19 Pennsylvania campuses with over 25,000 weekly attendees, centralized from Manheim.
  • David Ashcraft completed succession in 2022, reducing founder dependence while preserving institutional continuity.
  • LCBC combines simulcast preaching with local pastors, home gatherings, and digital Church Online reach.
