Computer Science Intern
About the job
- Must be a United States citizen and able to obtain a United States government security clearance.
- Must be a Computer Science major with a targeted graduation date of May 2028.
- Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
- Must be computer literate and proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have demonstrated work ethic, be goal-oriented, and have a history of academic success.
- Must have analytical and math skills.
- Must be able to work in teams.
- Must have written and verbal communication skills, critical-thinking ability, leadership ability, and the ability to learn independently.
- Apply cybersecurity techniques to offensive and defensive missions.
- Create custom software applications, including ideation, development, and testing.
- Develop technology demonstrations using commercial cloud infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
- Assess new application ideas.
- Research competitor offerings.
- Develop applications through coding and programming as part of a team, and demonstrate a prototype to company leadership at the end of the internship.
- Experience with a group programming project.
- Experience with Agile processes, especially Scrum.
- Proficiency in Java and Python.
- Experience with front-end and/or back-end development.
- Experience with Node.js.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with cloud systems such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Developing software projects as a hobby.
