Responsibilities
  • Model company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
  • Gain patients' financial commitment to begin the dentistry diagnosed by the dentist.
  • Develop proficiency in the PDS system and tools to help patients make decisions suited to their wants and needs.
  • Execute the Healthcare Coordinator handoff in partnership with each clinician for every exam patient.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on available financial options so patients can choose treatment that fits their budget.
  • Professionally address common patient objections to starting treatment.
  • Obtain necessary insurance pre-authorizations before treatment when required.
  • Ensure offices follow the Comprehensive Care Model and make referrals outside the office as appropriate.
  • Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other required meetings.
  • Understand business imperatives and how the role affects metrics and results.
  • Represent the PDS brand and make decisions consistent with its brand framework.
  • Learn about the Mouth Body Connection and support clinical excellence through comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies, and treat others professionally and respectfully.
  • Comply with company policies and applicable state, federal, and other regulations.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
