As a Commission Specialist at WorkWave, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely calculation and distribution of monthly commissions for our Sales teams. The role demands a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in navigating complex Excel spreadsheets. Beyond commission calculations, you will collaborate with Sales, Payroll, and other cross-functional teams ensuring accurate adjustments, and supporting compensation design initiatives. This position requires an individual comfortable consolidating commissions across all Sales teams and being the go-to person for commission-related inquiries.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
1. Monthly Commission Calculations:
• Download and analyze data to perform monthly commission calculations
• Validate all results to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
• Collaborate closely with Sales teams to address and implement any necessary adjustments
2. Data Management:
• Be comfortable navigating complex Excel spreadsheets containing various formulas and macros
• Maintain and update commission-related data, ensuring data integrity
3. Consolidation of Commissions:
• Act as the primary point of contact for commission-related matters across all Sales teams
• Streamline and consolidate commission processes to ensure uniformity and accuracy
4. Compensation Design Support:
• Collaborate with relevant teams in the design and implementation of compensation plans.
• Provide input and support for creating and modifying commission plans throughout the year
5. Communication and Support:
• Address inquiries and assist Sales representatives regarding commission-related matters
• Ensure availability to review and discuss commission-related concerns with Sales representatives
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Proven experience in a commission calculation or similar analytical role
- Proficiency in Excel, including advanced knowledge of formulas and macros
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Familiarity with compensation design and incentive programs is a plus
- Adaptability to changing quotas, team structures, and business needs
In our dedication to salary transparency, we provide a compensation range for sales roles, which is $75,000. The final offer will be dependent on various factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and the organization’s budget.
