- An Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician degree is required.
- Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Completion of an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency program is required.
- A current Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD are required, along with other licenses or board certifications pertinent to the specialty or area worked.
- Formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for the specialty or area worked are required, including age-specific competency.
- Evaluate patients and obtain pertinent information for diagnosis and treatment of medical problems.
- Order further testing and refer patients to other medical providers as necessary for appropriate medical management.
- Document appropriately in the electronic medical record and complete all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.
- Foster staff development to fulfill current and future requirements of individuals and the organization.
- Provide a safe environment for patients and staff.
