Requirements
  • A high school diploma and five years of professional experience in healthcare information technology, Epic applications, clinical informatics, healthcare operations, product implementation, project coordination, or related information technology experience; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Clinical Informatics, Nursing Informatics, Business Administration, or a related field and three years of such experience.
  • Strong understanding of Epic architecture, workflows, applications, and implementation methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence, automation, and responsible artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Understanding of healthcare software lifecycle management, implementation methodologies, and operational readiness practices.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive implementation activities across multiple departments.
  • Ability to translate clinical, operational, technical, and business requirements into actionable implementation plans.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management skills.
  • Understanding of healthcare privacy, security, compliance, governance, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in a complex healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate implementation and deployment activities for Epic AI products and capabilities across multiple operational and clinical areas.
  • Partner with Epic application teams, Informatics, operational leaders, product managers, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of Epic AI solutions.
  • Assist with intake, discovery, workflow assessment, and requirements gathering activities for Epic AI initiatives.
  • Evaluate existing workflows and identify opportunities where Epic AI capabilities may improve efficiency, quality, or user experience.
  • Coordinate testing, validation, pilot activities, and deployment readiness efforts for Epic AI products.
  • Develop implementation plans, communication plans, and operational support resources.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project workgroups, and cross-functional implementation activities.
  • Monitor adoption, utilization, workflow impact, and user feedback following implementation.
  • Ensure assigned products maintain compliance with established governance, monitoring, and review requirements throughout their lifecycle.
  • Maintain awareness of Epic AI roadmap capabilities and communicate opportunities to organizational stakeholders.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource regarding Epic AI capabilities, implementation approaches, and operational best practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • Current Epic certification in one or more Epic applications.
  • Experience coordinating or supporting healthcare technology or Epic implementations involving multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • Experience gathering business, operational, or clinical requirements and translating them into implementation plans.
  • Experience supporting adoption, training, change management, or operational readiness activities.
  • Experience participating in governance, compliance, privacy, security, or risk management processes.
  • Experience supporting software development lifecycle, implementation lifecycle, or technology deployment processes.
