Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registry eligibility and Texas Department of Health licensure.
Must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification within 90 days.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support and electrocardiogram certification within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
Assist with all diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization and special procedures laboratories as scrubber, monitor, or panner.
Operate radiographic equipment.
Assist with education on radiation safety principles and guidelines.
Prepare patients for examination.
Transport patients.
Document appropriate information.

Job Description
Cath Lab Tech
Under general supervision, the Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist assists with all diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath and specials labs as scrubber, monitor or panner, operates radiographic equipment, assists with education of radiation safety principles and guidelines, prepares patients for examination, transports patients, documents appropriate information, interacts with patients and physicians, assists with performance improvement, performs related duties as assigned.
2+ to 5 years experience r IDEAL CANDIDATELicensure/certification/registration: Current ARRT registry eligible and TDH license; Must obtain ARRT certification within 90 days; BCLS required; ACLS and EKG certification within 90 days of hire.
