About the job

Requirements
  • Seven to ten or more years of experience in Master Data Management, Configuration Management, or Product Data Architecture within a complex hardware development environment; experience in silicon, high-performance computing, application-specific integrated circuits, or server architecture is highly preferred.
  • A proven track record of leading at least one full-lifecycle, ground-up implementation or major migration of an enterprise product lifecycle management platform; Arena or Oracle Agile is preferred.
  • Direct experience mapping schemas and scoping application programming interfaces for product lifecycle management-to-enterprise resource planning integrations, such as connecting Arena or Agile to NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis and validation techniques, including experience writing SQL queries, using advanced Excel, or leveraging Python or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI to audit and report on data health metrics.
  • Deep understanding of how hardware engineering data is generated, including managing electronic design automation data with Cadence, Altium, or Synopsys and mechanical computer-aided design databases with SolidWorks or Creo.
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • Ability to advocate for data integrity and align diverse stakeholders, translating technical data architecture concepts into clear operational value for executives, engineers, and procurement specialists.
Responsibilities
  • Design and enforce the enterprise item master, including part-numbering strategies, component categorization frameworks, custom attributes, and lifecycle state definitions.
  • Architect data mapping, pipelines, and application programming interface integrations between engineering computer-aided design and electronic design automation environments, the product lifecycle management system, and downstream enterprise resource planning and manufacturing execution system platforms.
  • Establish data-quality automation rules and validation scripts to detect duplicate components, formatting errors, and incomplete metadata before data reaches production.
  • Serve as the authority on data governance and lead the Data Governance Council to align cross-functional stakeholders on data standards and impact analysis.
  • Lead the cross-functional evaluation, selection, and deployment roadmap of the enterprise product lifecycle management platform.
  • Own the extraction, transformation, and loading strategy to migrate legacy data, engineering spreadsheets, and silicon and hardware designs into the centralized product lifecycle management repository.
  • Architect and manage Engineering Change Order, Manufacturing Change Order, and deviation workflows, optimizing for engineering velocity and operational rigor.
  • Establish secure, automated data-sharing protocols to syndicate approved vendor lists, manufacturer part numbers, and release packages to external foundries, original design manufacturers, and electronics manufacturing services partners.
  • Conduct routine integrity audits on the Bill of Materials data stack to ensure compliance, traceability, and readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree or relevant data governance certifications.
  • Experience in silicon, high-performance computing, application-specific integrated circuits, or server architecture.
  • Experience leading a full-lifecycle implementation or major migration of Arena or Oracle Agile.
  • Experience with middleware or integration platform as a service tools such as Celigo, Workato, or MuleSoft.

About the company

Bolt Graphics designs GPUs for rendering, high-performance computing, and gaming, aimed at professional workloads like visual effects, architecture visualization, scientific simulation, and render farms. Its Zeus architecture, announced in 2025, emphasizes hardware-accelerated path tracing and FP64 compute, rather than AI upscaling. The design includes a RISC-V processor, expandable DDR5 memory on PCIe cards and servers, built-in high-speed Ethernet for direct GPU-to-GPU connections, and dedicated acceleration for electromagnetic wave simulation, with plans for PCIe card, server, and cloud form factors. The company aims to deliver higher performance per watt for professional workloads and scalable deployments beyond traditional consumer GPUs.
