Requirements
  • Associate degree or relevant certification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  • Basic understanding of IT concepts, systems and networking
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities
  • Providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Assisting in the setup and configuration of workstations, peripherals and mobile devices
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches and backups
  • Monitoring system performance and responding to alerts to ensure optimal functionality
  • Assisting in the configuration and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Troubleshooting connectivity issues and assisting in network troubleshooting
  • Collaborating with senior administrators to ensure systems comply with security policies
  • Assisting in implementing and maintaining security measures, including antivirus and firewall solutions
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines
  • Creating user guides and documentation for common IT issues
  • Performing other tasks and duties as required or assigned
