Fidelity launches 'Dynamic Buffer' ETF range.

Fidelity launches 'Dynamic Buffer' ETF range. Range will include US and Global vehicles 21 October 2026 Fidelity has launched a "Dynamic Buffer" range, providing two new risk-managed equity investment products. The initial range will include two active ETFS, Fidelity Global Equity Dynamic Buffer UCITS ETF (FGLB) and US Equity Dynamic Buffer UCITS ETF (FUSB). The new products expand Fidelity's total active ETF range to 30 different solutions, following their launch of an Equity Enhanced Yield ETF earlier this month. Both ETFs will use a strategy aimed to "cushion portfolio losses during moderate market declines". This will involve a targeted "downside buffer", which will adjust with market conditions - though Fidelity notes that this buffer is "not guaranteed". The trusts will also consider ESG factors during risk-opportunity analysis. The new ETFs are listing today (21 October 2026) on Borsa Italiana and Xetra, with further listings targeted on the London Stock Exchange for 22 October 2026 and SIX Swiss Exchange for 26 October 2026. Neil Davies, head of ETFs at Fidelity International, said: "Market corrections are a recurring feature of equity investing and can occur without warning. For investors, the challenge is how to navigate these periods without losing sight of their long-term investment objectives. "Our Dynamic Buffer range has been designed with this in mind, combining Fidelity's research-driven equity approach with a systematic downside buffer target." MORE ARTICLES ON

Fidelity launches global innovators equity fund in Hong Kong and Singapore. The new Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV fund will invest in companies positioned to drive or benefit from structural change and long-term trends. 21 October 2026 Fidelity International has launched a new global equity fund, the Global Innovators Fund, for investors in Hong Kong and Singapore. The new Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV fund will target 100-200 stocks backed by the firm's global research platform and will be available to investors across Asia and Europe. The fund will look for companies expected to benefit from, or contribute to, the development and adoption of innovative technologies, products, services, or business models, Fidelity said. It aims to identify businesses positioned to drive or benefit from structural change and long-term trends across industries. Adin Tan, head of private banking, Hong Kong and Singapore at Fidelity International, said: "The launch of the Global Innovators Fund is a significant addition to our Luxembourg SICAV fund range and highlights our commitment to bringing the best of Fidelity to our clients globally." The strategy will be run by portfolio manager, Mark Schmehl, supported by the Fidelity's broader investment platform, including the global analyst team. Schmel currently manages and co-manages a range of Canadian and global equity strategies, including growth, special situations, innovation and multi-asset strategies at the firm. Tan said: "Mark and the team bring extensive experience and strong track record of identifying and investing in innovative companies around the world, with a focus on businesses with the potential to emerge as long-term winners as industries evolve."
