Key Account Manager - Media & Entertainment
About the job
- Ideally, hold a degree from a leading engineering school.
- Have at least 7 years of sales experience in consulting, ideally serving Media & Entertainment clients.
- Have a good understanding of technology-market issues and client challenges in the sector.
- Be proficient in sales and account-management techniques for complex sales cycles.
- Demonstrate relationship-building ability, leadership, and the capacity to engage clients, partners, and teams.
- Be curious, rigorous, proactive, and motivated to learn and progress quickly.
- Develop a portfolio of strategic accounts for web, mobile, data, artificial intelligence, and cloud offerings, and identify new opportunities.
- Lead complex sales cycles with C-level decision-makers, chief technology officers, and business departments.
- Build and manage the sales pipeline from prospecting through closing.
- Work in partnership with a Solution Architect to develop differentiated commercial proposals.
- Lead strategic calls for tenders, including coordination, response preparation, pricing, and presentations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and build lasting relationships.
- Identify clients’ business and technology needs and propose relevant group expertise.
- Participate periodically in delivering one or more projects during the first year to understand the group’s work and strengthen expertise.
- Coordinate teams, monitor client satisfaction, and identify new opportunities.
- Experience selling to Media & Entertainment clients is preferred.
