Full Stack Engineer
About the job
- A degree or comparable qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional full-stack development experience, with a front-end emphasis.
- Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, React Native, Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, PostgreSQL, SQL, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.
- Familiarity with RabbitMQ integrated with a backend system.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI/CD; these are not mandatory.
- Familiarity with basic DevOps principles and clean, secure, maintainable code.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve the platform across mobile apps using React Native and Expo, web frontend using TypeScript, backend services using Java and Spring Boot, and partner portals using a CMS.
- Design, implement, and test new features end to end.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of backend systems and database queries.
- Extend and improve automated test processes.
- Continuously optimize code quality, development processes, and system performance.
- Maintain and extend technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with teammates and contribute to shared technical knowledge.
- Experience with Elasticsearch, especially data aggregation.
- Understanding of security principles for Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Expo.
