About the job

Requirements
  • Have 7+ years of product management experience on developer tools, or be an ex-founder with strong product instincts, and be technical enough to read architecture documents, follow design discussions, and ask relevant questions.
  • Be based in the San Francisco Bay Area; work visa sponsorship and relocation are not available.
  • Have shipped integration or platform surfaces that other companies' systems build against, owning APIs, authentication or identity flows, or developer-facing platform surfaces end to end, and be able to reason at the product level about how two independent systems should authenticate and exchange data, including where to be open, strict, and where trust lies in the integrations.
  • Build with the products and surfaces owned by the role, including setting up an authentication flow, calling the Data API, deploying a database, and integrating Supabase into another product.
  • Be comfortable using AI tools for research, drafting, and synthesizing feedback.
  • Work asynchronously by default, making decisions in writing and moving work forward without meetings.
Responsibilities
  • Own the success and outcomes of a focused portfolio of strategic Partners, ensuring each integration is high quality, useful to developers, and continuously improved.
  • Stay close to developers using the integrations, identify where integrations break down in real use, and build the roadmap from developer feedback rather than a Partner's wishlist.
  • Determine the integration model for each Partner, including what Supabase owns, what the Partner owns, what to build jointly, and what remains open and Partner-agnostic; assess whether the roadmaps align and choose an approach accordingly.
  • Work hands-on with each Partner's product and engineering counterparts to ship integrations, participate in architecture reviews and code-level design discussions, and turn strategy into shipped integrations.
  • Set quality standards for integrations and build documentation, tooling, guardrails, and versioning mechanisms to maintain them as adoption scales.
  • Define success measures for each integration, including developer adoption, integration quality, and reliability in real use, and use those signals to determine the depth of work with each Partner and the next integration improvements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with newer primitives such as workers or agent sandboxes, developer-tooling products, or machine-to-machine authentication.

About the company

What Supabase does: Supabase provides an open-source backend-as-a-service that gives developers real-time databases, authentication, and storage in the cloud so they can build scalable applications quickly and efficiently. How its product works: It offers managed backend services (database with real-time updates, user authentication, file storage) that integrate with an existing frontend or mobile app via APIs; developers can use a freemium model, starting with free basic services and upgrading to paid plans as usage or feature needs grow. How it differs from competitors: Its open-source nature allows deeper customization and community-driven improvements, and it emphasizes high uptime and reliability for mission-critical apps, with a seamless integration into existing workflows. What its goal is: To simplify and speed up the development of scalable apps by providing a ready-to-use, flexible backend that developers can customize and extend.

Supabase raises $150M and acquires Turso to scale AI-driven database infrastructure

Supabase has secured $150 million in new funding led by GIC, with participation from CapitalG, IronArc, and SquarePeg. This comes four months after the company's $500 million Series F round. The open-source Postgres development platform has also acquired Turso, a company specialising in database architecture for large-scale agentic workloads. The acquisition aims to enable instant database creation without dedicated machines for each agent. Supabase reports adding over 1 million new users monthly and creating 4 million databases each month. The company has experienced significant year-over-year growth in database creation, driven by increased adoption of AI coding tools and agent-driven workflows. The funding will support product development and provide liquidity for employees whilst Supabase continues expanding its infrastructure offerings for developers and AI applications.

Supabase raises $150M led by GIC and acquires Turso as AI agents drive 600% database growth

Supabase has raised $150 million in new funding led by GIC, with participation from Alphabet's CapitalG, IronArc, and SquarePeg. The round follows the company's $500 million Series F from four months earlier. The open source Postgres development platform is adding more than 1 million users and 4 million databases monthly, with 70% of new databases created by agents or AI-driven tools. This represents a 600% year-over-year increase in databases. Alongside the funding, Supabase announced it is acquiring Turso, a platform enabling developers to access higher volumes of databases for agentic workloads. Turso's architecture allows for low-cost, on-demand provisioning of databases. The company now serves more than 13 million developers and provides a complete backend including Postgres database, authentication, storage, and other services.
